Jamie’s Dream School

Here’s a quick preview of Jamie’s Dream School, which starts tonight on Channel Four. It’s an interesting concept, using the likes of Simon Callow to teach drama and Dr David Starkey to teach history to a group of kids aged from sixteen to eighteen who struggled with their GCSEs for a variety of reasons. While it does indeed sound like a dream to be taught art by Rolf Harris or science by Professor Robert Winston (even Dominic “Jimmy McNulty” West is involved later in the series), the stars have to face the same sorts of problems as most teachers dealing with unruly pupils.
