Sky Atlantic: First schedules published

The schedules for they heavily-trailed new Sky Atlantic channel have just been published, and they make interesting reading. As well as the much talked-about brand new programmes, the channel is an opportunity to catch-up with a few major series starting from the very first episode, reducing the need to get those box sets.

24: Day 8 2:00pm – 4:00pm

After the eight longest days of Jack Bauer’s life and 194 hours of incredible television, the final episodes of 24 aired tonight on Sky1 HD. It brings an end to an era-defining series which has produced some of the most thrilling twists and turns ever seen in TV drama.

24: Day 8 10:00pm – Midnight

Sorry, with all my laptop problems this is proving difficult, but here’s a look back to the latest two hours of 24.

24: Day 8 8:00pm – 10:00pm

In a series of developments you probably don’t care a great deal about, the delivery of my new laptop has been delayed by a whole week, leading to me generally being in a bit of a huff. Far more exciting things happened in the latest double episode of 24, shown last Sunday evening on Sky1 HD, which I’m only getting around to writing about now that I’ve found some spare time in between whining about my laptop not arriving, and stomping around with a morose look on my face. Time for two power Bauer hours to sort things out…

24: Day 8 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Today, with perfect timing, my laptop decided to stop working. Luckily, I’m somehow still managing to post something up here on the blog, only using a PlayStation 3, my phone, some sellotape and bits of string. Anyway, tonight’s two hours of 24 on Sky1 HD were, once again, great fun.

24: Day 8 4:00pm – 6:00pm

Jack is back! After a forgettable sixth season, last year’s Washington-set Day 7 was a brilliant, thrilling return to form for the real-time action series. Last night, 24 returned to Sky1 HD for the first two hours of Day 8, this time located in the city of New York.
