FlashForward: Believe

Time for the weekly round-up of the latest episode of FlashForward shown tonight on Five. After last week’s terrible episode, tonight’s was much better, and gave us some characters to care about. If you’ve not watched yet, as usual, be warned that spoilers follow…

FlashForward: The Gift

Last week I was hoping that FlashForward would continue to improve, and this week it certainly did, with a good, solid, well-structured episode which offered a game-changing moment and another good surprise ending. As usual, spoilers follow if you haven’t seen it yet.

FlashForward: Scary Monsters and Super Creeps

After last week’s disappointment I was really hoping tonight’s new episode of FlashForward would be good. Really, really hoping. And actually, it was. Kinda. OK, it wasn’t great but it was much better than last week’s awful fifth episode. As usual, spoilers ahead if you haven’t seen it yet..

FlashForward: Gimmie Some Truth

This week it was revealed that one of the two showrunners of FlashForward, Marc Guggenheim, has left the show. Many reports point out that this was the plan all along, but some mention that ABC executives have been dissatisfied with the storytelling in the series so far. Not surprising, if so. It’s a fantastic premise with plenty of promise but so far it hasn’t lived up to expectations. Let’s see if there’s any improvement with the fifth episode, spoilers follow if you haven’t seen it yet…

FlashForward: Black Swan

Time again for a look at the latest episode of FlashForward (yes, I will be doing this sort of thing for other series too, but none of them have started yet!). If you haven’t seen episode four yet, there’ll be spoilers after the jump.

FlashForward: 137 Sekunden

Yes, I know, I’m terrible, big slap on the wrist for me. This is four days late, but finally I’ve had the chance to watch this week’s episode of FlashForward! And it was a good one.

Flashforward: White to Play

The second episode of FlashForward aired tonight on Five, and I have to say it still has yet to win me over. It’s enjoyable enough and there’s plenty of interesting things to keep me coming back for more, but from the first two episodes I wouldn’t put it near my top shows of the year.

FlashForward: No More Good Days

Tonight Five finally unveiled what must be the biggest new American show this season, ABC’s FlashForward. If you haven’t noticed the endless publicity from Five (or the mentions on The Wright Stuff, Five News, The Gadget Show etc.), it’s based on a novel by Robert J. Sawyer, about everybody in the world blacking out for two minutes, seeing events from their lives six months in the future, and the consequences of this global event.

For many months, the biggest cliché circulating about this series was that it was touted as “the new Lost”. As a huge Lost geek, I was both excited and skeptical about this claim, unsure if it could really be that good.
